Rusted exhaust bolts

Just curious if anyone has any special way to loosen them up! really need to get the new back box on and could not get them off today.

Have you soaked some penetrating oil in? If so and its still not playing ball, then its surely gonna need some heat :(

Cover the bolts in plus gas (like WD40 but better) leave it for a few hours then use a breaker bar or torque wrench to break the torque.

 

If its studs you may need to get some stud extractors.

Good tools and big muscles is the only way to get it off, buddy......:hang:

yeah bought penertrating oil today and gave them a good soak a little while ago so will give it another bash 2morrow and if still no joy then i will try your guys suggestions.

 

Ha no new bonnet yet, i have a very long list for required parts. as you can see from my profile pic im going for the american muscle look :lol:
