Hello! My name is Matt, i'm living in Cardiff and am in the progress of selling my Honda Integra Type R and looking to purchase a 300zx (hopefully yewcheck's if he hasn't already sold it buy the time I sell the Integra).

So, look forward to posting in the near future hopefully as a 300zx owner :thumbup1:

Cheers

Welcome, That is a nice car my friend! Excellant choice of a first 300zx. Be so careful though, a 300zx will develop the same max torque as a Teggy Type R at tick over ;)... Or to come from the other side, after so many months of turbo lag on your teggy you'll finally be on boost :D

Hi mate, welcome to the club. Yewchecks does look lovely doesn't it. I hope your integra goes pronto so you can then start driving a real car....

Although those integras are lovely little things - quick too.

Enjoy the club bud - good buch of guys and gals who have helped me out loads since buying the zed

Do I sense a hint of sarcasm in that last post Quavey lol!!

I've had a N/A car for 4 years now and have always said that 1 day i'll get back in to a turbo car, I do miss it and am really looking frwd to owning a 300 so i'll be on (Quote Quavey) boost again

Haha nono Im a huge fan of quick hondas actually, I nearly went that way with a 1.8vti mb6a few years ago, but I went for a 323i in the end and sort of good hooked on displacement, so two 300zx's and an M3 Evo later im still here!

You'll do well with a nice 300zx, not as snappy or nippy i suppose is the term as your integra/that kind of car but the torque is just fantastic, overtaking without changing down is just fantastic!

Some impressive motors there Quavey, i like, hi 5 ! The ride to the chippy will be a little less noisey Sir Charles ha ha.

Can see this being a good investment and already likeing the forum

Nice choice as yewchecks is stunning mate.

As for integras, i think they are gorgeous cars, get some pictures of yours posted up.

I love the dirty kind of JDM look.

So, the DC2 went a few wekks ago and I have been on the hunt ever since :online2long:

On Friday a forum member 'Rosco' put his very nice 300 up for sale and by Sunday afternoon I was on a road trip to S E London to pick it up :cool3:

It was an awesome drive back, and after a 3 1/2 hr drive I knew this was a good purchase :) Since buyingthe car I have fixed the stock boost gauge (the vacum pipe had snapped) and the turbos are boosting as they should be.

Sir Charles has taken some pics of his SWB and my new purchase together so they will be posted soon.

Really looking frwd to some of the up and coming meets and glad to be part of such a well presented forum

congrats on your purchase, now stand back and watch in amazement as hardly anyone knows what car it is, but they always have a "mate" that used to own one lol

Well done WelshZ - I made the move from DC2 to Z32 a few years back and am also still smiling from ear to ear, look forward to seeing pics! :)

Took some pics of mine and Matts new Z earlier on, both have bodywork that needs attention but all in good time...then there will be better photos!

Matts new car is the LWB TT J registration.

Matt - am very happy to hear that you are liking the car. It has really killed me to sell it but needs must. Am so glad that it has gone to someone who will really enjoy it and sort out the bits that I couldn't. Glad the boost gauge is working again! I will keep checking on here for any new pics you post. Happy zeding mate

Lol. It's already happened! Some guy asked me if it was an American muscle car  I'm really enjoying it. Going to book in to get the wheels refurbished next month and also book in to Z world for a check up. Let the fun begin :)
