From looking at a couple of threads it seems I need to take out the rear upright and bench seat and then the rear side panels, and drill a hole in the window surround trim, can I do this with it in situ or have I GOT to take it off?

Obviously I'll need a position on where to drill the hole in the trim does anyone have a picture of one handy?

Like you said you will need to take it off to find the right place to drill but more importantly it needs to be removed to bolt in the seatbelts anyway.

If is the same bolt position as they are on uk. Which I presume they are I will take a pic of uk trim later. Off the car

Well I printed the pic out and offered it up, drilled a small hole and it went in deep so gathered I'd hit the spot, increased the drill bit and it was spot on no need to take the panel off. One side installed, next side after lunch :gunsmilie:

I actually bought three point rear seat belts and the rear quarter pannels from a UK model at the same time. Saves the customising of your existing pannels.

I think I still have them in the shed as I know I never fitted them.

I have the uk panels with the slots for the belts straight swapped them out, just didnt have the window trim but it's only one hole to drill.
