Hi,

Can anyone tell me what this pipe is for? Its the one that connects to the sump.

Im guessing its for the standard oil cooler if so i can block it off as i have my oil lines connected to my sandwhich plate.

Cheers

Dan

oil cooling pipes they go to the small rad at the front of the car. you got it in one.

Gibster, can i ask you to take loads of close up photos of how your turbo attaches to the car please. and PM me them. Would be much appreciated.

i recognise that pic

might be better to just loop the pipe from the oil tree to the sump as i dont know if you will cause a pressure build up in the tree. i've been looking into this myself as i'm not using the cooler feed from the tree but, not had much luck in finding out weather the oil tree is under pump pressure or not

Cheers for the info mate i didnt think of that! I bought the Greddy oil cooler kit for the Zed it didnt mension anything about the tree! But ill do that as id rather be safe than sorry. So ill just connect the feed straight to the sump??

P.s I like the new look rear lights

cheers Dan, better than a pair of carrots

yeah, just loop the tree feed back into the sump until (hopefully) someone comes along with a solution.

Hi gib mate, looking at following the service manual for turbo removal. just wondering how much room I'm going to have to play with to get to the bolts closest to the engine, I don't mind taking the engine out to do it, but don't mind the challange of doing it with engine in, not only that will be nice to learn how to do it with out removing it. If all else fails I'll just pull the engine anyway lol
