Courier costs and import duty would mean those TVs would not be cheap once landed in the UK.

Cost of P&P is £60 if that helps. I bet the duty will be about £200

For which one? They are all different sizes and weights.

just found this and works out about £300 for duty if it comes from japan.

So add on the cost of shipping, that'll push it closer to £400. So add that to the price of the TV and you're running a little under £1400?

Would swap my zed any day for 8 sorry guys.

The 8 was in my list of cars when I was looking at the Z. I've driven both and the Z is a much more involving and fun drive. The 8 is a great cruiser though and very handsome, but the Z32 is a much better car to drive if you want driver enjoyment. The 8 is very boatlike.

 

I still love the 8, one of the few BMWs I'd actually be proud to own.

Only BMW I have not driven and not driven my zed on the road yet. So might change my mind.

Not sure about these days, but the 8series used to be as cheap as muck, nobody wanted them. Its the car Bmw are most ashamed of, and was a complete sales failure. Received a lot of criticsm as poor replacement for the old 6series.

I quite like the 1 series, would have one over an A3 or Golf.....would get one for the Missus.

 

Never been fussed over the Z3. Certainly not Vile, but not very exciting and got dated looking quickly.

Can't stand either. The one series is ugly from the front. Looks like it's been punched in the face. I'd take an A3 over any 1 series. Couldn't drive something that ugly. The dash is about as bland as Rivita and I wasn't all that inspired when I drove one. Find the 1 series stupidly over rated. It was pleasant enough, but did absolutely nothing for me.

 

The Z3 is proportionally all wrong. Awful looking thing

One of our customers has a Z1 with around 1000 miles on it from new! Had it in a while back for a full service & took it out for a run. Right wacky doors LOL!

Rare as hen's teeth! I've never seen one on the road. Infact I think the only place I've ever seen one with my own eyes is in the BMW museum in Munich.

LOL! I know - he had it up for sale on our forecourt for a while as he knows our MD - cant remember the price but didnt get any takers so he kept it IIRC!
