If anyone is thinking about getting their Z checked over by ZedWorld...stop thinking about it and do it!!! Thought I would share this with you....

A few weeks ago my heater matrix blew leaving me in a cloud of steam a long way from home on a freezing Friday night on the M25. Came home courtesy of the AA (very useful, but most undignified!)

Rang ZedWorld the following day, spoke to Jamie and got my car booked in for a new heater matrix. They collected my car from Northamptonshire on a low loader, fitted the matrix and competed a ConZult.

To cut a long story short, Jeff's laptop showed some strange readings and after further investigation he found that someone had put NA injectors into my TT! Someone had also taken the Plenum off (probably to put the injectors in), re-used the old gasket causing a significant vacum leak. In addition, the cam belt had been rubbing on the cover causing the cover to melt!

To be safe they changed the cam belt, the injectors and put a new gasket on the Plenum. I collected the car yesterday and what a difference! Perfectly smooth idling, loads more power and dramatically increased responsiveness.

Jeff documented all the work including step by step photos of progress, kept me updated and managed to complete the extra work when they were extremely busy. I have never experienced such a personable and professional approach from any business, let alone a garage. What a credit they all are to themselves and all us Z lovers.

Keep up the brilliant work and a big THANK YOU!

Yes it is! I didn't know this was on here. I bought the car from an import company in Cornwall back in October. Love it and want to bring it back to it's full glory. I am gradually learning more and more and I use it every day. To my knowledge everything is original (including the wheels).

When the rain stops, I will get some photos posted.

Thanks for the link, it's great to share this valuable information.

Welcome to the club matey :) Jeff is a zed God and I wouldn't hesitate taking the car to Zedworld.

Well done Jeff and the crew at Zedworld  always great comments going your way.

Cheers Mr ZXTT

Damn I have a copycat aswell now lol welcome to the club

Well you have copied my avatar!! :p :D

few problems, could do with an expert eye, do i make the 3.5 hour drive to zed world for an accurate and precise diagnostic and repair or try henstead motorsport 10 minutes away? anyone know if the guys from henstead are close to the experience of jeff and co?

or are there any other specialists closer to lowestoft?

are mjp as good as zedworld?

Hi Galea, sorry I personally don't have any experience of Henstead or MJP. What I can say though is that ZedWorld are absolutely fantastic. They did some top rate diagnostics and they know the 300zx inside out, I would do the 3.5 hour drive every time.

Hope this helps and all the best with whichever garage you choose.
