Just wondering why the super s is a lot cheaper than normal mobil one? Will this stuff do???

Used it 3 times now in my Z with no issues and i know others have also

That Super S is semi-synthetic whereas Mobil-1 is a fully synth. A good semi 10w40 was what Nissan recommended from new so it won't do any harm and it's the right grade.

 

But is you have a modified twin turbo, or don't change your oil every 3000 miles, then I'd say pay a bit more for a fully synthetic - and for a highly modded TT go a grade thicker; say 10w50.

Very misleading! That is NOT Mobil 1 Super S - it is just Mobil Super S!

 

Its still a good quality oil but does NOT bear the Mobil 1 brand!! I used it for years as we had it as our bulk oil at work.

 

We now use Mobil Synt S which is a fully synthetic oil or Mobil 1 as a higher spec oil
