If its the ones for sale on driftworks id already looked into these, it looks like 10j on the rear is about as far as you can go without rolling the arches or wide ass kit lol

No its other ones i have spotted mate. They come in a set of 10j and 13j.

No worries will knock them on the head then and look for 10j max.

I loved the deepness of these wheels aswell:( looked fantastic.

Thanks tho mate.

buy the wheels and deal with the fitment of them later.

Just trying to look for somethign that isnt going to be a huge hassle tho, and i suppose 13j will be a big hassle for me. As i have a stock body was hoping that i wouldnt have to go rolling arches etc and keep the standard look.

but i suppose if if i get them at a decent price.lol.

got it wrong its actually 12j at the rear not 13.

Yes, way too wide. 13" on a non wide bodied Z is not gonna fit, even with gay offsets.

You neeeeeed to check offsets as well Craig. Don't simply choose a wheel because you think it looks nice. Check the fitment of it thoroughly.

You can have my new wheels for £300 craig as I dont really like them

I have first dibs on those wheels if they are going anywhere apart from baz'z car!!!

Ill pay you more than 300 if in good nick.lol!

As Si says, width means nothing without offsets. Even a 10J on the rear will not fit if the offsets are wrong. To go for aggresive sizes you need to understand wheel fitment back to front and inside out, asking on here for each wheel won't get you very far!

As a rule stick with 8.5-9 on the front, 9-10 on the rear.

You asked on my new wheel thread if I needed to roll the arches on my setup. I spent a long time researching offsets, and there was a lot of work to get them to fit, not just just rolling the arches.

just a slight off topic if you were to go 8.5j front and 10j rear does anyone know the exact offsets etc that would work without too much ball ache in fitting???

i aint asking about every single wheel atall.

As i know nothign about offsets etc, this post is purely to ask for help and assistance.

If you dont mind, can you let me knwo then what would be a good j size and offset size for a zed? apolgise if i ask to much but just hoping to get soem good figures so i can have a really good hunt.

I do apologise if people think i am askign alot of questiosn, all i am trying to do is get my zed in shape for how i would like it in time for summer, and the result for me trying to do that is to ask you guys for help.

hopefully nobody feels offended by my actions on asking these questions for assitance etc.

no need to apologise, and I don't think you've asked for everyone, just stating before it happens

There are a few wheel fitment threads stating what sizes work and what work if needed to get them to fit. Think JimmyTT started the most recent one

Dont plan on asking for everyone matey, just anybody who is reading and might want to help me out.

cheers for the thread, pritty good that iw ill go from the info on that when selecting some wheels, hopeing to get 2nd hand wheels to be honest so i know they have been tried and test on a zed.

cheers.

+20 and +40 respectively. They'll fit without any arch mods.

You're swapping those with me Baz!

Thanks Mr Funky, its a great offer, but.... NO DEAL

That's ok. I'll be rolling on 19" BBS LM by the end of the year. So, not bovvered. :p

THEN I'll swap with you lol (for your BBS's ) :tt2:

They are all worth the same. Actually, the BBS new are about 1k more than my Advan. They were about 3k.

they are really nice mate, but at 1k im not to sure as it will be abit more by the time i can get them re-furbbed.

I have noticed the ultralite nurburgring wheels on http://www.japshop.co.uk that i find quite appealing to be honest and they would be brand new wheels at the cost of the ones on driftworks. Driftworks also comes across kind of dodgy aswell.........

nice find tho baz and i really appreciate it.
