Iam just after your opinions really, Im wanting to know if I will see any benefits to doing something.

Im considering buying a set of Unorthodox Light Weight Pulleys.

 

Do you think ill see much difference in performance?

Swapping from an AMS crank pulley to a set of Unorthordox pulleys will see no difference whatsoever.

 

The performance increase is all down to the Crank pulley weight difference (and a little down to the diameter decrease). Stock Crank pulley weighs about 5kg, and lightweight crank pulley weighs less than 1kg. A 4kg saving.

 

The other stock pulleys weigh a few grams. No real saving there. Its just bling to swap them.

Unless you're getting the set of unorthodox pulleys? In which case you'll save a little weight and get a little increase in response but not as much as from stock to lightweight crank pulley

My question is that i already have the AMS one in the link. If I get the unauthodox ones will I get any gains over what I currently have (the AMS one in the link)
