Hi everyone...i know im never online anymore but thought i would show off my new car as im well chuffed with it.

I was driving a vectra which was robbed from just outside my house a few weeks ago so once the claim went through i got the chance of something that caught my eye and thought i was well overdue my first jap car!

After agreeing a price i parted with my cash and drove home in this.....

nice motor, but please dont go sticking a spoon exhaust on it, they sound terrible with big exhausts on

thats a very nice little hot hatch...

EK9 wheels look good on it. Is that an SiR? This is my favourite shape of Civic. Infinately better than the newer stuff and far more attractive than the EK9.

Just steer clear of big exhausts. Hondas sound horrendous with them. Just get a stock one with a nice tip welded on.

Always had a soft spot for the VTi.

no she aint an sir just a 1.5 dual carb...still only 19 so insurance dont like the word vtec!

she has a buddyclub spec 2 exhaust...fairly loud but was rolling roaded at 91.3bhp on a standard exhaust and tester said she was being choked so was decatted and had the buddyclub fitted to release more power! will hopefully be getting rolling roaded soon to see what difference happened!

I bet that sounds horrific! No offence, but I've never heard a nice sounding Honda 4 banger with a performance exhaust on it.

Looks nice though. I'd get a rectangular plate for it though and some clear indicators.

there is a rectangular one on it now as police were causing hassle over the motorbike plate! i think it sounds ok but that is due to the carbs rather than just a normal engine!

steela....the ek model is 1996-2000

Fantasic little motors. I love this style of civic, by far the best of the bunch imo :cool3:

ek9?? the one with the hideous headlights??

EK9 wheels. They were the only nice styling feature to the VTi EK9. EK9 is an ugly mother ****er. EG is the nicest bodystyle of all the Civics IMO.

This below is my Civic of choice. Sky blue EG VTi.

I had a EG sky blue VTI a few years ago. I loved it at the time, light, pretty quick and had great handling. Definitely one of the best cars I have owned but just grew out of it....wanted something faster!

Can't believe what they have done to Civics now....progress eh :hammer:

Get youself onto civiclife.net :D i'm on there as i have a civic too. Loads of people on there and can get lots of info etc....I was opting for a eg civic at one point too but facied something different so got myself a Civic Coupe EM1 only a 1.6 but still got 160bhp...enough for me...for now.

Yeah mine has a big exhaust lol (even thought iv seen and heard much worse) Its at some weird angle to :( BUT....mine was on the car when i bought it....and so was the black bonnet looool.

Currently unemployed so cant be spending money on my car at the moment. But paintjob, exhaust, coilovers and alloys are on my list.

All iv done is:

Change the grill

Put HID

Colour code the engine

Snails? Dude, have you been drinking again? They look as much like Margaret Thatcher as they do 'snails'.

Looks really nice mate.

I do like the civic, was tempted to get one myself and JDM style it. But it doesnt have anywhere near the power i was wanting.

Anyways your car looks very nice with those alloys on etc in the pictures, would maybe try and de-tango the lights. Those we cars are all about fat exhaust IMO. So get one and keep it on.lol!
