YES THE MARBLE ZED HAS GONE

 

its a very sad time for me to let this car go

there was lots of reasons why i had to let it go (as some of you know)

but only one reason to keep it COS I LOVED IT

 

sometimes we have to let our heads rule our hearts.

 

ive put a lot of time and effort into this car, along with davezx.

but i could,nt have asked for a nicer person to sell it to

 

the new owner is martin stacey (basingstoke)

me and martin get on really well and he is such a nice person

i hope you will all make him very welcome to the club

i believe he has already subscribed and is looking forward to meeting you all at shows and meets.

 

he has even promised to take me on the nurburgring trip with him.

im glad the car is staying in the club and not going to some boy racer who would probably wrap it round a tree.

 

its a fantastic car as you all know and martin has got some big plans for it with several upgrades.and is looking forward to showing it.

 

so it just leaves me to say a BIG WELCOME to martin

i will be staying in the club as its a nice place to be and ive met a lot of good friends on here

i will still be going to the shows and hopefully, if circumstances change, i will get another zed one day(martin has given me first refusal on mine if he ever sells up anyway)

 

i feel like an old man with no toys to play with anymore:cry::cry::cry:

Sorry you had to let it go mate, seen the Z at jae it was stunning so glad its gone to someone who will look after it and build on what you have done,

steve,thanks for everything mate!!! really looking forward in going to the nurburgring with you as promised,and meeting up with eveyone.i would just like to say thankyou to everyone in welcoming me into the club.

Somehow a Vectra isn't quite the same even if it is the 3.2 V6 model..........

Sometimes we have to take drastic steps because circumstances in our lives change.

 

That is not to say that we cannot get back on our feet again and have back our toys we love

Zed went a few weeks ago - just wasn't getting used. Only did 600 miles inbetween MOT's!!!!!

 

Things are going pretty well...........finally got all the decorating done........now starts the work on the outside - lol. Hope things are well with you and yours.......

yeah everything fine

kids are growing up and wanting to go to college and uni

 

uni + zed (something has to give somewhere)

also gave up the driving job

im now an accredited commercial buildings energy assessor

but things are very quiet at the mo

Asolutely gutted for you mate but more so that i wasn't in a financial position to take her off your hands as i always wanted to :cry:

 

Glad she's gone to a good home though & will remain in the club, hope to still see you at the odd show now & then & catch up :duffer:

yeah really gutted, but the lad whos bought it is a really nice bloke and hes got a lot of big plans for it, so expect to see it in the jap mags again soon

 

will defo bump into you again at the shows.

i will still be going

 

hope the new family addition is coming along nicely.
