Hopefully nothing major

My car has had a squeeky brake for a while now, so hopefully tomorrow I will be putting some copper grease on to sort that out.

The car has also developed another squeeking noise... It mainly occures when warmed up and when going slowly round a corner (mainly when I turn left). The sounds is not a gringing noise but like a 2 parts moving against each other without any oil or grease on them. It can also be felt throught the streering wheel.

Any ideas ?

if I was you I'd check over the front suspension arms, I almost found out the hard way that the lower arms were just about to seperate from the rest of it!

Very likely the backing plate on the disc, try bending it back a little, can be done through the wheel sometimes.

Thanks Baz and Jeff - I will put it on stands tomorrow and have a look.

Well one brake done.... I found 2 faults. First as Jeff said the back plate was rubbing against the disk and second, one of the pots had siezed. Now loose and is a lot better.

Car turned round (have to work on the road as I don't have anywhere else at the moment) and will do the other when I have taken the nipper to school.
