Hi I have used part worn performance tyres on my Z but they are becoming hard to get hold of and new prices can be costly. Im not really moaning about that but I am interested do others use part worns and have you found it hard to get decent tyres? Im looking into my options as my rear set are a bit low. I nearly always use part worn's on my daily driver gs300 sport on 275/40/18's and 245/40/18's as they go through them quite quickly being the big dog that it is.

i get my part worns (265/40/18) from a guy who works for astin martin, get friendly with prestigious service mechanics!!!

Wont ever use them, 90% of the time they are taken off write-offs or have been puncher repaired.

I like to know the only thing keeping my car attached to the road with 300bhp is gonna be spot on.

I agree you can get decent part worn tyres, I mean decent makes without punctures or uneven wear etc. It is best to check them out for yourself, it is hard to tell from a picture on the internet but I have purchased online before and got a good deal. They are just becoming hard to get decent tread depth in wider 18" sizes. I called around nearly all part worn dealers I could find in my area and nothing.
