Can anyone recommend a company that does low price classic car or limited miles insurance for this car.

I am nearly 40 and only really use the zed occasionally at weekends in the summer, probably doing no more than 2,000 miles a year, so it wrankles having to pay a fortune for insurance for a car I hardly use!!

Anyone help??

Yup - I'm with Lynbroooks and they were the cheapest by far for me as well!

Otherwise, Carole Nash are not bad either!

I pay £200, agreed value, slight mods (exhaust/filter/wheels), 3000 miles PA....

Oh - and try Adrian Flux too - he's a trader on here.

Good luck,

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

i spent most of yesterday trying to sort out my insurance - I've got a Civic that expires this month while the Z expires in May and I've been tied into a deal with my current insurers where they mirrored the NCB from the Z onto the Civic to keep the premium down which was a great idea at the time (because it saved me £700!) but made it tricky to shop around and drive my premiums down.

I've decided to put the Civic on 28 days temporary cover (off my Z policy), and then the remaining 21 days on the insurer's sister company temporary cover. Hopefully having two cars to renew will help me get a better deal.

Hope you're successful. If either of your cars is an import you'll struggle! I have import 300 & uk 200 & can't find an insurer to put both on one policy with limited mileage on both. If you can help me I'd be grateful.

my Z is an import - two of the companies I tried said they'll 'ring me back' - I've got 10 years NCB on it FFS!!! I'm with Sky at the moment but Adrian Flux have currently got the best quote for me. These are on two seperate policies.

Admiral multi car - it saved me paying two premiums after all I can only drive one at a time. Mines is UK.

Just done my insurance om my fairlady tt lynbrooke quoted me £211 fully comp up to 3000 miles. very sweet recomend anyone give them a try. Then again im a old bugger 45
