What can I say, A few months ago my son went over to the dark side and bought German  after untold Japs

He went out today for a part for his VR6 and came back with this instead. Its a Twin Turbo manual and goes like stink.

He sold the Golf and bought this for only £1000 which is a steal.

It needs some small bits doing but nothing major I reckon about £500 and its back to former glory

Lucky B**tard :nana2:

At least there's another Zed in the family :yes:

Yeah, Im fine thanks.

I gave my Z a complete respray back in November and just picked her up a few weeks ago. Stunning.

Interior next, lololol

That looks like a wicket Z your son picked up, my son has been nagging at me for one as well but being 21 we have the insurance issue.

He already has a Gen 4 Stunning Celica, unmolested 1 owner from new and 26,000 miles with full Toyota service history, I have also given him my Stag that I had owned for the last 23 years (for his 21st) and still not enough, he wants to get rid of the Celica and get a Z.

I wouldnt mind him having one as long as he can get insured.

Anyway, when r we gonna see you at the Halfway House meetings?

Where's your pics then you should be sharing you know !!!!

Celica's are cool my son had a GT4 great car but he also longed for a bigger Jap so I cant say I was dissapointed when he came home with it LOL

His insurance has jumped a lot as well but you only live once so if you can afford it go for it is my motto. I wish my dad had a Stag to give me when I was younger but been a Paddy I got a Massey Ferguson Tractor lol.

Been to a few meets there but I have a Supra as well and mainly drive that but he has spurned me the sort mine out now and evenings are longer so I'm up for it now so I will have to get my finger out and sort it out

So when will I see your Zed then ???? I bet it looks fantastic

I need to post a few on here and ive been meaning to do that for a while now but not had the chance.

I might have a go tonight and put some photos on as I bought the car and as it is now.

Hmmm, my son is asking me how old your son is and how much the the insurance costs? loloololololol.

Kids, never happy with what they have, they always want more.

A bit older 27 mate

He pays £90 a month with Sky insurance and it was only £45 with the VR6 so double

Surely you should be paying :lol::lol::lol:

I'm sure your son wont object :flowers:

I dont mind paying, I paid for his Celica, but no one wants to insure him because of his age.

Id love to have 2 Zs at home but right now he has to wait for a while.

Im sure in October when hes 22 he will no doubt try again. I have just managed to get him insured on the Stag as again age played its part.

Most insurance companies wouldnt touch him untilhe was 25.

Too late my little bunnies have moved in already :lol:

man... £1K... 10 years ago don't think you could get near one for under £10K and there were plenty for more...

Probably ran the same then as they do now!
