Hi Guys, I`m just in the process of putting some rear speakers in the vert, I was going to fit a sub between the seats on the moulding at the rear(the cover about shoulder level), but when i lifted the cover i found a metal structural bar right below :cursing:

So where have you guys put your speakers/sub`s?

Pics would be nice

Cheers Daz.

theyre quite shallow 6x9s (infinity reference) theyre sat about 5mm off the fuel tank, bolted on to the back of the plywood

obviously it wont matter too much to you having a vert but i did it like that and built an identical box with a removable lid for the other side to house the amp and have storage space for things. it just leaves enough space down the middle to fit the targas in there during summer.

if i were to do it again i would either buy a less powerful amp/sub combination as the volume of the box isnt quite big enough and the amp has to be turned down otherwise the protection feature cuts in to stop it popping the speaker, still miles loud enough tho. or i would just build 1 box big enough for the speaker and somewhere for the amp to mount hidden out of the way with a large enough volume to cope with the power of the sub/amp.

good luck whatever you decide.
