My engine is having to come out and may need a rebuild. In case this is going to take a long time does anyone have a running engine spare they want to sell? It needs to be a complete unit including everthing so that I can take one lump out for the rebuild and put another temporary one in its place. Keeps me on the road in my car rather than a loan micra...!

From a 1991 import 2 + 2. Car was never registered in the UK. A dealer bought a job lot of 10 cars from Japan and only registered 7. The others (including this one) was left standing for 12 months. Its done 65,000km, and it runs (I have video evidence just before we took the car apart)

Andy, the engine is out of mine now and the heads come off later today. So will be making a decision on whether to rebuild mine or go for a another engine.

 

Is the engine out of a manual or automatic?

 

Is the engine out of the car already and able to be collected or can you arrange delivery?

 

How would you want paying for it?

 

If you could arrange for a cash on delivery to the garage I can leave them with cash. (£750 + whatever the delivery costs are)
