Its been cold, but wouldnt have thought a new battery should die. Do you have an alarm installed, if so extra features does it have, things like remote sensing etc...

Have you charged it and its taking a charge?

Or you could have parasitic drain. You can wire an ameter from the positive on the battery and then to the positive battery clamp, so its in series. Then you can check what current draw you have on it whilst just sat there. DO NOT start the engine if you have this in series cause it will just die, they only take 10amps.

Thanks for the reply mate, it has no alarm mate, just bought it, travelled over 300miles home and no bother, left it for a week fired first time, but left it for two weeks and its a no go lol, I will just charge it and see what happens.

Thanks Mark

I thought I'd killed mine this afternoon....

.....I was fitting a new head unit and had the ignition on whilst I was testing/programming it etc. It wasn't until after an hour that I realized I'd knocked both heated seats on; so when I went to put the car in the garage guess what...?

Luckily Julia arrived home soon after so I was able to get the jump leads out. I've just taken it for a nice little run and all is back to normal, thankfully!

Just give yours a charge mate - hopefully it will hold it and you won't need to shell out for a new one.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
