The black wire left is the old earth/ground for the oem bulb. Its no longer used.

The in of the ballast connects to the existing wires that went to the bulb and the out goes to the HID bulb.

So the four wires in the rubber grommet/seal to the headlight, pull the 2 wires, black and red with the spade connectors through the rubber, so you are left with the 2 wires to the new bulb otherwise you wont get a tight fit using the original ring collar.

The 2 pulled wires connect to the original bulb wires outside of the headlight.

Really easy and straightforward. You shouldnt need to re angle but you may need to clean the lenses.

As above BUT I would strongly recommend you drive to your local MOT station/friendly garage and have them check the alignment of your headlights. Because the HID bulbs are longer than the OEM halogen bulbs you MAY find that the beam pattern has shifted and requires adjusting. I ALWAYS recommend my customers to do this just to be sure. Shouldn't cost more than a fiver if anything at all. You should also ensure that the INSIDE of the projector and headlight glass are clean as dirt will cause excessive light scattering and blur the beam pattern thereby making the HID lights less effective and possibly blinding oncoming traffic due to glare.
