I quite like that front bumper, so i'll refrain from any snow-plough comments

That car looks very like one that a mate of mine had about 3 years ago

Nice by the way

since november...... me and a friend went and got it from scotland.. bought it with a nackered clutch....low loadered it to z centre....2 weeks later the clutch fork snapped... thought it was the slave cylinder, fitted a new one and it popped, i got angry and slammed the door and then the window shattered.....So your typical jap motor lol.

gutted. the sign of things to come lol!!!! Craigs is poorly to. did he talk you into buying it??

  • Author

well mine isnt poorly now, i bought it knowing it had a dead clutch, runs absolutely lovely.

Craig was more against it as he thought it was copying.......trust me its the only time he will ever be anything close to a trend setter lol..

I bought it as a sensible option to be honest. Between me and the missus we had 3 cars, a smart roadster, a pug 106 and the vette. so getting the z allowed us to get rid of the pug as the run about and i sold the vette to clear some cards and buy the z in the 1st place as my daily driver....money saving exercise really.

The vette

OMG Dan that is stunning. I would love an old vett one day. But will never sell the zx. Would happly get rid of the supra for one though. The V8s are just amazing

Surly you cannot be saving much!!

Won't be poorly for long though and it still drives well, might have another engine soon as a temp while I get mine rebuilt

After i blew the engine in it i had it rebuilt , shite loads of pony power and torque which was fun but 22 miles ( work and back ) was costing me a tenner a day. on a long run it was returning around 22 to the gallon, 12 in town and 7 if i was hoofing it. so i am saving a bit

For now i am happy with the power but will possibly jet it... after checking the condition of the turbo's but at the moment i am wanting to repair the front bumper. crack on the side you cant see and possibly change the skirts.. you do the ones i like. Also looking to sort the engine bay out as its a bit dirty... i have plans for it but need a second set of rocker covers etc. Have you had your motor long?

Ah fair enough, its just a fella I bought my M3 off, he used to import 70's corvettes and then restore them to resell. He had a few there at the time, lovely things wondered if it was one of his :)
