...Without messing up the nice shiny outside!!

I am 60% done with my plenum polish and have realised that I have not flushed the thing through yet??

What's the best way of doing this now guys (and girls)? :confused1:

Hose and radflush perhaps?

sorry for the thread hijack but are there any traders that do chrome plenums here in the UK?

There are many commercial peeps who will do it for you - but expect to pay around £400.00. Try Gavin Sowter at GS Polishing I know he has done a few (http://www.gspolishing.co.uk/) - I have never used him though so...

i used carb cleaner and a bog brush from the pound shop to get as much of the cack i could out of it :)

I used a pressure washer and tfr, obv the plenum dulled off but soon polished back up by hand.

Cheers guys will attack it with carb cleaner and a toilet brush then ;-))

If the head of the brush comes off in the middle of the plenum somewhere - will it effect performance much???? ;-)) ;-))

Bung the ends up and fill it up with a bit of petrol and shake it up and down like a mad man :2guns:

Haha, maybe a little, probably not even noticable tho unless you thrashing it on a track :tt2: I also did the 'shake it around like a mad man' method too..... :)
