If it´s of any help I read up on all the tyre brands I could find searching for a good alternative to Falkens as they don´t do 245 /45 /16 over here anymore.

I also came across Nexen tyres while researching and if I remember correctly they weren´t much cop.Cheap tyres that were way down the list when compared to the likes of conti, goodyear and Dunlop etc. better than the likes of Nankang, Wanli and GT radial, but still not good.

I concluded from all the tests that I read that Tyres are one of the most underrated yet important part of the car , and especially with a performance car they are the one thing you shouldn´t save money on.

Just my 2 pence worth

lol rodders fancy seeing you here , wow small world, so far the nexons seem to be ok , i only have them on the fronts and dunlops on the back , but i anit minted at the mo to spend 200 a tyre so i guess ill keep my 100 tyres

What size tyres are you after, the Falken 452's are very good performers for the money, I certainly wouldnt touch nexen, linglongs, wanli or fulruns they are ideal for people who don't drive in the wet or ever take it past 3000rpm though.

well i didnt ha ve a choice at the time , but i have nexen on the fronts , so far they are ok no problems, just wanted to no what you guys thought

Not what you are looking for mate, but I recently fitted a set of Nexens to the back of my pick-up. They werent the N6000`s but SUV Rodians.

I had Goodyears on prior to that and my verdict ?

No problems what so ever !! I think they are rated above Linlong or whatever they are called.

Obviously a sport car requires a different standard from a Pick-up, but I cant fault the Nexens in any way. My size was 285/50/20 and I got the pair for £160, no questions asked ! :sailor:

Oh, and with over 300 horses available from my Hemi engined Dodge Ram, I dont hang about much either mate ! :gunsmilie: Few pics.
