Is there any issues with painting intercoolers, i.e. will it affect the cooling capabilities? I'm not talking thick layers of hammerite lol, just need to freshen up my ARCs as they have a bit of overspray from the former owner. :saddam:

im pretty sure you can paint intercoolers as i have seen a few front mounts with the japenese rising sun picture painted onto them.

Jesus Baz, your working on the zed, with snow on it and on a pebble driveway.you must be hard as nails.

Try and use an enamal paint if you can like chrome spray as it will conduct temperature better.

Or you could just spray on carb cleaner to flush out all the crap and that should brighten it up at the same time?

haha didnt work on it in the snow, although the driveway provides plenty of difficulties at times :cursing:

If I use carb cleaner it wont clean up the old overspray would it?

Yeh,a wee spray will be ok on it.(but a roller and tray of emulsion wont be so good for cooling tho) lol :clown:

every time my front comes off i always get in there with a tin of satin black..and give them a light dusting:cool3:

I'm guessing a spray tin Bri? brush on might be a bit thick lol...

Do you do them black for a subtle appearance?
