Its there to monitor the temp in the cabin so the climate control knows what to do

so wont have any side effects if i take it out?

Not too sure what will happen if you take it out mate, I can only assume you will either go very hot, or freeze to death :ninja:

It shouldn`t be noisey mate, they normally run silent? Maybe you have some dust or debris in yours, stick a hoover on it, or replace with a second hand one.

Won't hurt taking it out. It's just a small recirc fan. You'll find 75% of Z32s don't have fully working ones. Most are seized.

Hi Mark, got one you can have for £20, I live just outside Rochester if you want to meet up to save the postage.

I removed my fan cos it was squealing, no ill effects. It is there to circulate the air around to get a more accurate readings to aid the systems control, but TBH I have not noticed any problems at all.

Just get a replacement, or try cleaning the one you have. They run completely silent normally.
