I am over the moon just bought a set of rear lights and a the middle reverse lights, in very good condition for a bargain £50 mine were cracked to hell.

Well done bud, Bargain!!! if there any small scratches they polish out really good, I think there is a link somewhere on here how to do it best.

nice one mark... I asked the question about cleaning them not long ago, you need some G3 compound, they will come up all shiny with no scratches and look like new! :thumbup:

Did mine G3 and my buffer looks like new easy job. Leave them in the car and tape round them with a few layers of tape.

And on the subject of scratched lenses, if they are only light surface marks (washing swirls etc) then you don't need anything so abrasive as G3; Autoglym paint renovator does the job pretty well too.....

 

......it also works on plastic headlamps! I've used it on the Rav-4 and the headlamps came up fine!

Thanks for the advice guys but there are cracked as well so needed changing.
