Hi I dont want to put this thread in the Wanted section cos its not really I just wanted to know if anyone has been lucky enough to buy second hand,items such as 99 spec rear lights,unorthadox pullys etc. I really want these things but just cant afford them yet. I suppose im looking for someone who bought all the stuff to fit then had their car written off or stolen or just changed their minds. Ive never been lucky like this and just wondered if anyone else had been. What have you "dropped on" for?

It took a fair few years but I got racelogic traction control system with launch for around £425 IIRC. Keep your ear to the ground bud you never know, I want some 555 injectors but are way out of my price range, maybe oneday.........

i got myself a full set of unorthodox pulleys for a good price secondhand

 

also some injen pipes for £40

 

free series 2 electric both sides leather seats (looking a bit tatty but planning on recovering anyway.)

 

i want to eventually do a tt conversion but waiting for a bargain engine to rebuild.

I have the real UR ones and they are exceptional quality but not sure if they should be 3x as expensive as the copies?. Getting the facking bolt off the front of the Alternator was a challenge though took half a day with a blow torch!
