Hey people,

 

If i fitted GTR front Brembo calipers, (with appropriate brackets) could i fit the discs too (are they the same fitment)?

If you fit GTR R33 or R34 calipers then yes you can just fit the 324mm GTR disc.

Also note you will NOT need any relocation brackets, but if you get the R34 calipers, the hub mounting holes will need enlarging to 14mm and you will need to get caliper mounting bolts as well.

R33 calipers have the same 12mm hole.

Not got them yet, still searching. Looking to get the r33, r34 gtr calipers or the evo 8 or 9 calipers. Will let you know when i get them.

Just needed to be sure the disc is the same fitment. (for the gtr calipers)

The GTR calipers are bolt straight on, no brackets, and you must use GTR spec Discs (stock or aftemarket)

 

350z Calipers are the same spec as GTR Calipers, but use a different is offset, so require 350z spec Discs. The rears however do not bolt staight on.

 

The Evo calipers are larger, but require custom brackets for fitting.

Is the front evo caliper offset the same as the GTR offset? (Same disc)

350z discs matey, GTR discs are a direct replacement when using GTR calipers. Also, don''t go for the EBC disc, imho.

i'm pretty sure that the evo brembos require 350z discs Alan.

It depends on which relocating brackets you got, they differ between the GTR ones and the 350Z ones, simply buy discs for the brackets you have.

That said 99% of relocating brackets on here are GTR fitment :-)

GTR ones then mate. The 350z brackets only come from the US.

I don't think Alan realised you were using stock calipers with your brackets.

I dont know if this is any help, but here are a few pics of my work today, fitting some Brembo calipers, you can see the bracket that needs to be inplace to take the larger units.

Exacly the same as krsmayo`s bud, I bought the lot from Mad-max(He purchsed krsmayos car), they are evo brembos and 350z discs, I`ve not actually fitted them yet as i didnt have the longer bolts to go through the bracket into the caliper :sad:
