Fitted my coilovers today

Was going to do them Sunday but had a spare few hours and had a go, easy peasy lemon sqeezie!!!! Job done in less than 3 hours and i waxoyled around the arches aswell, front right wheel is rubbing on something on full lock, and set them on hard and its goodbye teeth!!! setting on soft is just like standard shocks!!!! made up with them, the car handles so much better.

I will probably set the ride height a bit higher than it is in the pics as i think its a little too low, and i may get some spacers to bring the rear`s out a little

I noticed the camber is way out so i need to get them laser aligned now, heres some pics from today;

you will need adjustable camber arms to get the wheels to sit right when lowered that much

Fantastic bit of kit arnt they. the differance between hard and soft is amazing

Even on soft it handles better than the Teins i had on but remains like you said stock:thumbup1:

The ride height is the same as mine was. just a tad to low and it looks silly as the arch loses the shape of the wheel. I raised mine a little at the rear and left the fronts.

Do not adjust the spring as it does naff all and will only stiffen the car up more. you adjust them at the bottom. all you need is about half an inch iirc.

As for the dampering i did 18 clicks on the fronts and 16 on the rear, suites me. just have a play and see what you like :thumbup1:

looks the dogs dangels btw:punk:

yes mate, he owns the company and knows an amazing amount about suspension etc...

They seem to have a decent reputation across other marques.

Apparently they were made by HSD, but now made by BC. Either way they appear to be another HSD varient, which is no bad thing.

I like how they offer have a shock dyno test result, which many of the similar coilovers dont show.

on offer at £429 quid :shock: what is the history of this brand yassa? do they supply parts for racing teams?

jerrick puts in stupid amounts of reasearch and development to make sure his products are as good as it gets. he supplies coilovers and over suspension components for many drift cars and i have not heard a single complaint about him from a single person and when you speak to him and see his products you will understand why. his research is extremely in depth. he finds the perfect materials and has also made coilovers for cars that no one else makes coilovers for.
