Howdy doodally neighbour!!:chef:

Just wondering whats a really good show you guys watch and enjoy that gets you hooked?

You see i like lost, got all the boxsets and love watching it(waiting on the new one in october)

I then moved onto two and a half men, which i thought was great aswell and was very entertaining and making me want to watch more to see what happens.

Well know im waiting on the new lost box-set and two and a half men i have nothing to watch.

Just wondering what you guys watch?

I enjoy the likes of two and a half men as its a funny short episode's with a sotry line in it aswell. Lost just gets you hooked and wanting to keep watching.

so basically what should i go for next, was thinking on this CSI but not to sure, then maybe sopranos. Then started thinking about king of queens.

Basically just want something me and the other half can sit down and enjoy.

I would quite like to get something thats a complete show so if i do get hooked i am able to keep watching to find out whats been going on. Or i would atleast prefer somethign thats got a fair few episodes already done so i dont catch up and am sitting about waiting again.lol.

Hope you understadn what im asking about and my jibberish crap isnt to much of a pain to the eyes and brain to read.lol.:D

Cheers

Dexter is a pretty good thriller, is bit of edge of seat sometimes

'Firefly' if you like your space cowboy style affairs (it stopped after 1 series though, a feature length film called 'Serenity' followed it though with all same characters)

If your a bit nerdy like me then Big Bang Theory is pretty funny

Tudors is a bit of fun

Like anime? Cowboy Bebop might get you interested, theres a film of the same too.

True Blood definitely

Skins ... because it reminds me of home :)

Looking for ones that have plenty series of boxsets available to buy so we can have lkike a tv weekend chilling out watchign the show.

Then for me it has to be cult classics from the 1970s and 80s. The Professionals; The 6 Million Dollar Man, Knightrider and The A-Team.......

Richard:cool3:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Many great shows listed above, here's a few extra:

Life on Mars - 70s tastic politically incorret

Ashes to Ashes - 80s tastic (great quattro)

Red Dwarf - classic

Peep Show - most amusing

Vicar of Dibley - she will love it

Mighty Boosh - slightly random

Blackadder - classic

The Wire - you feel me?

Phoenix Nights - Good old Peter Kay

And if you want something for her only then she will love footballers wives.... i banish the missus upstairs to watch it. :gunsmilie:

Skins

Inbetweeners

True Blood

Ideal

Lost (but got shit ages ago but now will watch it to the end)

Misfits

Battlestar Gallactica/ Giving Caprica a try but its a bit slow

Jericho

Space above and beyond

Band of brothers and im so looking forward to the new series they have just done

Oh and Eastbound and down... that was sooooooooo funny, my Mrs loves true blood

Great shout on that, not normally a will ferrell fan but that show is very good. The main character seems to be based loosely on ricky from trailer park boys which again is one of the best comedy series of late.

Currently watching Breaking Bad with Hal from Malcolm in the Middle. A good program but the missus wasnt too fussed with it.
