I know lots of Zs don't really see the roads this time of year, and others are in daily use. But what are you doing to yours right now, what are you fitting next etc etc? Come on get typing

For me, tomorrow, I'll be taking the front bumper off and fitting my ARC intercoolers, fitting a splitter to the bumper before it goes back on, then fitting a few interior gadgets in the shape of an Apexi RSM and SAFC

planning on getting to a few shows this summer in it!!!

Sell it... LOL having a moment of weakness drove my M3 again tonight and id forgotten what iwas like!

Sort the brakes out the 300zx, they vibrate like Fck so not sure wether to just get some new discs for ebay standard size and see what they are like... also spotted these, seem cheap any good does anyone know?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300ZX-Z32-FAIRLADY-VQ30DETT-FRONT-TENSION-RODS_W0QQitemZ160379096248QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item255756ccb8

Got the interior in bits retriming at the moment. Panels are done, doors still to do then fit new seat covers.

Have coverd the stereo suround and momo steering wheel in carbon fiber effect vinal going to do the dash vents as well as the switch surrounds on the doors.

With the trim off i'm fitting some sound dedaning material I got from e bay on to the back of the trim as well as onto the car itself.

Work for the near future, and thanks to temperatures of -14 degrees I now have leaks around the targas and boot so this will need fixing, the original spoiler has gone from bad to really bad thanks to the frost so that needs to go too.

Finally I want a new exhaust to try and get rid of the bloody drone which is present from 2k to 3.5k revs.

and once I get this lot done it will be MOT time then who knows.

Finished LED convesion to all bulbs including resistors inline.(what a pain in the ass that is)

Nearly finished fitting coilovers and adjustable tension rods, chamber arms, sway bars etc..Front & rear carbing braces done.

get the geo set up properly finally

Uprated rad and replace all coolant pipes, thermostat, fit chrome hard pipes.

Chrome balance bar & PAS pot still to do

Injen hard pipes to fit.

Fit new side mounted IC's although don't fancy removing the non standard front nose section as it may mess up the paint work where it meets the front wings. While Im there remove ERG and maybe C/Canister.

Have wheels refurbished then new tyres.

After that start looking at having a re-spray early next year as well as looking at 555 injectors and a spare engine to start re-building next year to chase 500bhp.

H.

Thats what im doing at the min and imo it is by far the best colour combo you can have for a black car.

those wheels will be stunning :gunsmilie:

do you have pics of this combo

I'm currently starting to save for a recon engine, as mine is in the early stages of giving up :( but i gotta get a second car first

plus i still got my new wheels and spoiler to fit to the Z at some point this year :)

mines been off the road since october and have been busy removed the hicas and aircon at the mo fitting new wireing loom, nismo 555cc injectors, ecu, timing belt, loads of powdercoated stuff, s.s.split down pipes and japspeed decatts, Z1 hoses and water pipes, some polished bits and bobs white dials,99spec front bumper, flat nose panel tinted rear lights and centre panel and some other bits not arrived yet!;)

dan.:cool3:

Im just replacing my engine after a bottom end failure, fitting a sat nav, dvd cd player into center console and finally getting my standard wheels sent away to be redone. (if anyone knows a good place in scotland or northern england let me know)

Where to start?

http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=131802

The main things i still need to do:

- Get the brake pipes replaced

- Underseal

- Replace the subframe and rebuild the rear subframe.

- Complete HICAS removal

- Fit new side skirts, front and back bumpers

- Wire up PC and Double Din DVD player.

- Leather retrim

Im sure there's still more but i cant think of them right now

Got Jimmer from this forum fitting two secondhand turbos, and a thorough check over then its off for an MOT, then its down to the bodyshop to get the front end blown over as it covered in stone chips.

Then enjoy it for the summer! :D

Then sell it (hopefully) about September time.

Have you booked it in, his spanners don't get cold these days.
