Hi Guys,

I`m fitting my BC coilovers at the weekend, I have a small idea on what to do,but where do I start? any hints/tips for me along the way, do I need any special tools? or other parts before I start? Do I need to set them to a certain ride height before fitting.

Thanks in advance :flowers:

Daz

p/s just in case it matters they are getting fitted to my TT.

Your welcome, go slow, take it easy - allow a whole day ;-)) That's usually how long a one hour job on a TT takes right lol.

usually takes an hour to get the dam thing off of the ground lol

Too true, I am sooooooooo tempted to dig a pit in my garage :sweatdrop: even though a pit is no good for fitting coilovers!!

if you have trouble removing the rear due to spring tension all you need to do is have someone push down on the hub with their foot while you pop out the shocks very easy.

Aw I wanted these but just didn't have the coin at the time.. they look a great buy - but buddy don't be scared, coilovers are very easy to fit - the tricky bit is setting the ride height but getting them on is eaaaaaaaasy as pie!

It'll all make sense when you take your current stuff off, the new stuff bolts in place of the old stuff in exactly the same places :) Get a mate to help you when popping the coils back in and raising the hubs so you can rotate them as needsbe
