Poerterfield RS-4 pads from Dan @ DTA.

Ive got them on mine just now and cant fault them. Had EBC pads in before but they wore out really quickly.

I have the porterfields, huge improvement over the standard pads. The car actualy stops now... Have heard that ferrodo DS2500 are meant to be very good, but have never tried them

performace friction all the way mate.... best pads on the market imo

What they like on the Road(cold) Jimmy? ..and in regards to noise / dust ?

What they like on the Road(cold) Jimmy? ..and in regards to noise / dust ?

erm lots of dust even though they are advertised to give off less, but i think for a race pad they give of less than their rivals, cold they are very good, they heat up quicker and they have ALOT of bite especially when new, after a few heat cylces they take a little longer to heat up but whn cold you can still stop without any hassle. I dont get any noise at all, well not that i can rememeber or that bothered me. Another important thing id like to add about these pads is they last a very long time, i have been to 2 full day track day sessions and driven 2000 on the road with these pads and they still have more than 2 thirds left ;) I can stop from 130mph to 60 5 times in a row and still not sufffer from any fade, infact these pads have never faded ever. not even a bit.

The only problem is they are very hard to get hold of and of course quite a penny, my fronts cost me £200 but il never look back.

The spl 300zx race car has these pads ;)

Its always good to source suppliers for the future while on the subject of brakes i find

I have yellows fitted to my fronts, and they say the cold bite is bad, i think it is ok. When warm/hot they are great, excellent stopping power, fitted by the best.............."jimmer".
