Can anyone tell me the weight of a set of Clocks ( speedo cluster)??

 

Need this to sort out postage costs

weight is up to 30kg so not a problem there, signed for, tracked and generally next day, a no brainer if you ask me.

 

i use them almost every day.

Sorry guys, I need the weight in grammes or kilo's as i need to check something with Royal Mail.

I have sent dash clocks in the post many times, approx £6 in a box, cheaper if it wrapped in bubble wrap.

Ive got a couple of dashes here in front of me, but no scales sorry.

you can buy postage online at royal mail and so you can enter what weight you want!!!!

for instance i pay and print off £7.06 and this is for up to 4kgs, i attach to the box and just take it direct to my sorting office, which by passes the post office, where they just put it on the outgoing pile and i have done this quite regularly.

even though the box weighs that bit more at 5.5kgs!!!

but with this method there is no tracking and takes 3 working days.

£8.10 is not too bad for the dhl method i mention earlier, you can then add as much packing material as you wish as you will get no where near the 30kgs limit.

Just weighed the dash clocks and the binnacle weighs 450g, HTH

if thats the case, 450g, then it must be royal mail recorded, thought it might weigh a bit more than that, some packing material on top of that dont forget.

Depends how you pack it though Andy, if its just bubble wrapped, with tape, you are looking at about 500-550g max and a box the same, maybe 600g max, cardboard weighs naff all on its own really

By the way to clarify, the 450g clocks have speedo rings and a stainless facia, so weigh a bit more, i have just weighed a set of standard uk clocks and unpackaged come in at 200g
