Bugger. I can't for the life of me find the key for my locking wheel nuts (McGard). I've spent about 5 hours over the past two days searching the garage and the house for it (and the car, before you ask). I guess you can't get replacement keys easily? If not, then what's the easiest solution to get my locking nuts off?

Leo with that box of stuff i gave you with the car you should have the original mcgaurd packaging, in that should be instructions and a code so you can order the same key direct from the company. Failing that i can get you some locking wheel nut removal keys (universal) for about £20 ish

Ah yes! Still got it, cheers james! (And cheers others for advice :-) )

if you have them off already, here is a handy hint for anyone else with access to a welder, weld a nut onto the locking wheel nut, and then use the corresponding nut socket to get it off.

you can buy replacement keys from mcgard, but they take around 2 weeks and come from belgium.

Impact gun for the win! blast em off and buy a new set! Dont go to a Big garage or dealership as i heard Kwik Shit charge like 20quid a wheel and thats all they do!

Ordered a new key from McGard. Don't mind about the wait as I'm not in a rush to get them off! (touch wood I don't get a puncture)

So for a tenner the wheel theaf can over ride your £50 locking wheel nuts, save yourself £50 and dont bother LOL
