a monthly evening meet on a regular basis, i.e. first or last Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday etc.,etc., just to meet up for a pint. A Zed would be optional especially at the mo' with so much salt on the roads. It would keep us all in touch with our own zed highs and lows, and be a chance for new members to meet fellow owners and put faces to names. I am sure we can find a pub centrally that all people would find acceptable, if not then two pubs and alternate their use to cope with the large ASG area. It would probably be better earlier in the week as the pubs are quieter and thus more chance of a sit down although in the summer we would be outside.Is this of interest to anyone ?

Good idea, but trying to get peeps interested is another thing.

yeah i know what section it is. My plan when my zed was fixed was to do alot of travelling in it to meets all over and just spend a few nights in certain places.lol. That didnt go to well.

I know what you mean mate, hopefully you will get another Zed and do that, we do try and put on meets all the time, but since the weather isnt great, or if its raining in FunkySi's case, most people wont bother! If its sunny out and a really good day, we get about 15 cars attend! If it rains about 2 LOL!

I think that during the winter the Zeds can stay in doors, the important thing is to stay in touch, preferably over a drink and somewhere warm. As I stated before to try and keep everyone happy, we would probably need a couple of venues, one south of Bristol and one north and visit them on alternate months, at least the cenral lot could attend both meets. It seems to have been a long time since we had a get together so come on chaps, get some ideas / suggestions going and a meet as soon as possible.

I'd be up for a meet, Wednesdays good 4 me.

 

Altermnating the venue might be a good idea once you got a few people together as a concensus. Why not do Bristol City centre first.

 

Say Black castle where theres plenty of free parking and a pub!!
