need to either fix the viscous one iv got.. (somehow) or an upgrade? (somehow)...... can you weld viscous diff's? or do i just get a poo'y s13 open diff and weld that up? 2way sound terrible, 1.5 would suffice - any ideas?

Whats wrong with yours ? Just get hold of a replacment stock Diff. Plenty about.

sure you could weld it but not worth welding it unless your going to be drifting.

doesn't always lock, will an oil change help things?

its an na, drifting is all i do

if your just drifting it then a welded diff will be fine

yes mate, viscous diffs can be welded. they weld the s14 turbo viscous diff's. iirc.

ask on driftworks to be sure :thumbup:

yep and you can only tell by taking it apart. i doubt axlaw's diff has anything wrong with it but its just not locking as viscous lsd's are poo for drifting.

it was ok tonight, gonna change the oil in the diff just to see if things improve, what oil does the diff require?

You can get plate or quaife internals for the R200. I'm looking at using an R32 GTR R200 plate in mine but its not a straight bolt in fit.

Flange, it has the same (stronger) input and output flanges as the R230.
