Does anybody have any tips on removing the old stock tweed interior and replacing it with a new one?

I have already got a complete z interior - Thanks to a very kind Bobgenie - and have swapped the door cards, but what about the central console and the glove box and the bits around the glove box etc?

Can anybody help?

I have tried many searches but no real success.

Thanks in advance.

front Seats are just held on by 4 bolts, get them out the way first. Lift up the centre console lid and remove the felt bottom. Under there is the screws holding it down. It's just a case of unscrewing and popping off loom plugs etc, until your finished Once you've made a start it is fairly easy but will take time. Refitting is a reversal of removing

Here you go Paul, you dont need the first section so much but goes through the whole procedure

Rear seats and half the boot panels need to come out to get to the rear quarter panels, but the rest is very straightforward

Good luck with it all, it will transform the interior no end

That is most helpful thanks mate.

I reckon the seats i got from you, along with this new interior will set each other off quite nicely.

I'm going to tackle it tomorrow morning as i dont have to be in work till after lunch  and more thankfully the snow has all melted and the water left over has finally subsided. :boat: :boat:
