Q45 Maf just arrived, its huge, i can put the z32 maf inside this one lol.....

 

Managed to get hold of the pigtail too which is good....

Yeah its a fair size, I got one too a while back off ebay. It came with an Apexi power intake which was nearly new and the lot cost me £35 ;)

 

Is it just a plug and play jobbie (obviously with wiring changes) ? do you have to alter anything else?

Well it will need to be mapped and a few parameters changed, John Dixon knows all this.....

 

Im going to adapted my spare z32 intake flange to fit and il have to use a silicon reducer and bit of 80mm pipe to fit it all to together for when i get the car mapped il keep it in the car on the way up so its all ready and waiting, first i need to find this boost problem, im hoping its leaky recircs.

If hunting for more than about 650bhp flywheel, I wont be aiming for more than 600bhp so a dual intake wont be necessary here. The q45 will alow 20% more than the z32 maf.

 

I do have two z32 mafs though. But i wont be needing them soon.
