Welcome, nice car, you need to adjust your handbrake lol!

Welcome to the wonderful world of zeds, and by the looks of it a nice tidy example.

Clean engine bay too.

Yep, thats the one, its been stood for about 2years, so was expecting it to be a bit tappy. The add just said engine noise- i was expecting the big ends to be dead or something. So thought i was lucky. Then i joined this forum and saw the buyers guide, the 1st thing it says is to avoid '89/90's due to head+valve problems. The autobox is also half dead- again this is mentioned in the buyers guide. Overall the car is in vry vry good condition inside+out, and only has 49k on the clock

very clean and tidy - after fixing her up should still be a good cheap purchase :D

and LOL at the handbrake, alot are fairly high but thats gotta be the best I've seen

welcome to the club mate - looks like a lovely example from the pics - I hope she doesn't give you too many problems with it being advertised as a breaker.

...that guide is a bit harsh regarding the Series 1! I wasn't aware of this problem?

Try to avoid very early Z's '89/jan-feb '90, due to possible cylinder-head and valve problems. TT's with engine-numbers below 619550 or NA's with numbers below 777599 may be subject to this problem. If unsure check with Nissan.

Welcome to the club.

Found mine on ebay. £500

Run like a bag of poo when i got it. Found out was over filled with oil and was very thick and the air filters I think have never been changed from new.

Gave her a good service runs ok now just needs a new turbo.

Hope you are lucky like me

You will get loads of help for everyone as well.

Not all cheap zeds are bad, so don't let it put you off. You have a nice low mileage example there, just suffered in the hands of neglect for a while but it will live to fight another day lol.

The silver Z in my sig cost me £420, which later got broken for spares and soon paid for itself, then I brought the red one for £800 which was also funded by the money made breaking the silver one. Not to mention all the other goodies I've brought too.... ;)

So you're on to a winner either way... ;)
