I was recently asked by a fellow member whether the stainless steel headers sold on Ebay and elsewhere would fit a RHD NA car.

My answer was no based on fitting three sets to different cars myself. Also I know several NA owners/members on here have fitted them too and had to do the Lambda sensor re locate job.

Since I am in the middle of fitting them / building my new car I was able to take a clear photo showing the original RHS Lambda boss fitting pointing straight at the steering column and thus preventing the sensor being fitted. Pic also shows my way round this..... weld in another boss.

(I nearly didnt get this right... it could have been a few degrees different for perfect fit)

Has anyone found a set of headers that dont need modding. apart from the ones Smithy/Leon at Alunox made.

I would be particularly interested to hear from our newest trader on here ... Japspeed as I believe they actually sell headers.

As you know mate, the ones i done were manufactured with a UK Zed in a UK welding shop so as to be as a correct fit ;)

However i understand that TTZ in Aussie land also did the same thing being of course their Zed's area lso right hookers.

Pretty much most of all these "blinged" up exhausts and headers for Jap cars that you see sold on ebay etc, irrespective of the seller being in the UK or the US, are usually supplied by CNRacing in china/taiwan or which ever. Cos the Zed was a massive hit in the US much of their products were designed for that particular market!
