My zed has been sitting in on my drive in all weather conditions uncovered and untouched for the last 4 months and hasn;t moved since feb last year, while I've been working on stuff like refurbing a rear subframe brakes etc all ready to get put on it. Anyway, I decided to have a look inside and see if she was ok.
Was a little bit worried on what I would find but after a bit of wd40 in the drivers door I finally got in only to find that it's completely bone dry :thumbup1: not a hint of any water or damp getting in.. I decided to turn her over and it started first time! only to cut out straight away. A quick look in the engine bay reminded me that the apexi was wrapped in two carrier bags and the AFM wasn't plugged in :innocent: oops. Took the bags off and plugged the afm in and with only 9v left in the battery I turned the key and.... started first time! all gauges reading correctly and the volt gauge jumped up to 14  I reversed the car a little bit further up the drive and even the brakes weren't sticking.
The only thing I had done before leaving it for so long was disconnect the neg lead from the battery.
Can't say how chuffed I am with her, I've now fully rediscovered my passion for zeds :punk::punk:
