Buy a 1996 Corsa 1.4 vegas.... Which my sister has which is currantly the only vehicle we can use on the drive!

My astravan is f'in useless. As is dads 745i, mums 523i (been that long since we used it it'll probably not start) and my M3, and the 300zx? Well thats just a laughing stock! After being dragged arse first for 1/4 mile the other day much to some very bemused walkers amazement!

To add to this my mates T reg 1.6 astra doesnt have issues either... Obviously you and I know that its narrow tyres that do the trick, very annoying though!

I once owned a Citroen Dyane (mechanically same as a 2cv), only 600cc. Front wheel drive, very narrow tyres & was absolutely brilliant in snow & ice. Crap rest of time!!

Don't eat yellow snow, unless there is an open bottle of jack Daniels next to it

Then its worth the risk!

if ya windscreen is icy and you dont liketo leave ya car ticking over while you clear the ice, boil a kettle and fill a hot water bottle or old pop bottle, place it on the dash of ya car, have ya brekkie and by the time you come out it should have softened the ice up a bit

Or get in the car an press front heated screen button, 30 secs later job done:thumbup:

A big bit of thick cardboard over the screen stops the screen freezing, inside + out.

Oh, and keep a scraper+ some deicer in the house as well.

A gallon can of fuel a blanket in the car saves freezing if you get stranded in the bad weather.

you got a ford then lol, my rs1800 had a heated front screen and as great

yup 09 cmax titanium:winkiss:

Long Johns and its even more fun if you get the cowboy style ones with arse flap so you can moon everyone
