3.5 0-60 second auto, 450 bhp engine with no engine spec to see. My opinion is i dont think so. Very poor add.

Agree with Damo, no engine/interior pics, not a very convincing ad. I would avoid matey.

Ye matey Thats what was on my mind aswell Surely a car with that power would show some pics :confused:

im guessing no engine pic's due to being resprayed bay side blue, and you would see the old car color, but seriously if advertising your car as 3.5 seconds to 60, you would have at least some description of engine specs, the guy even fails to mention if the engine sounds ok or if its smoking or not

would need more than 450bhp to do 3.5 secs anyway... usually horse droppings init

The only other thing to do is go and drive it. Have a look at the interior and engine. Ask the seller whats been done for "450bhp". Ask to see time timing slips for the 0-60 time. Bet it's a standard car with a different front bumper resprayed in blue. It's even still got the standard brakes and wheels.

has he now removed the 450bhp quote cos i cant see it on his add anywhere but id avoid it doesnt seem very upfront with information

Yep I think your all right one to avoid !!!!

Thanx All for your sound advice :thumbup1:

Yeh, check out his feedback in detail, as a buyer he has been reported for non-payment 3 times which perhaps speaks for his character in general :cowboy:

0-60kmh in 3.5 seconds maybe...!

i rekon your right!! its an import so may still be in kph, i rekon hes driven it to 60 kph with a stop watch a rekons its super fast and there for quoted 450bhp? lol, :punk: i maby wrong, and yeah its very poorly advertised, somthing must be up with the car?

It's not the bhp that gets you to 60 fast its torque that does that. But I doubt very much that that car has 450bhp, sounds like he's quoting "pub" figures i.e I get 20bhp from a cone filter + 20 from my exhaust..etc. etc..
