I have a mongoose cat back system on my car at the moment but would like a more supercar sound. In the shed i have the turbo elbows de cat stainless steal system ready to go on. Now i know about turbo seals, but if i fitted the rest of the system would it give that V6 grumble i crave. Would it be any louder?

 

Also are the elbows easy to fit?

its possibleto do the elbows with engine in ive done it a couple of times now u just need extensions and a U/J for the drivers side and take the battery out for the passenger side but id advise putting new gaskets on as they may have been on there a while.

 

I have a Japspeed full system on mine and the only noise suppressor i have is the back boxes so im quite happy with the grumble mine makes and it is loud. Sounds loud like a meaty engine not like a corsa with holes in the exhaust.

Yes i have the japspeed also and it came with all the gaskets. Does the decat pipe fit straight to the standard ebows and would just doing that make it louder.

I have the full Japspeed exhuast set up too, and it has an awesome sound, very deep, loud and full of the V6 roar you need, especially when you go through a tunnel!!! Albeit, it can be a bit too much on a long run, but worth it.

Well im going to mate the japspeed to the mongoose back boxes, i dont think it will be over loud but i dont mind any way as its a week end car.

Get the mid sections taken out.

 

Yes Si thats the bits i have. I think im going to decat it first only and if it smokes, if it does i will put the standard parts back on. I have read the precats are one of the biggest restrictors so im interested in getting rid of those.
