Hi, looking at replacing all the OEM suspension on my car as it's the only thing that was never fitted when the kit was done. As expected the inside of the tyres wear faster because of this and the car sits a bit to high on the OEM shocks/springs.

So to all the guys who have a wide arch kit fitted what suspension did you go with and what other parts did you replace/recommend I replace while I'm there so to speak?

Here's my list so far.

Drop links

Tension Rods

Tension rod bushes

Upper link adjustable camber arms

Eibach spring f&r

Shocks - ?

cheers

Adjustable camber arms and traction rods are a must. I've got the Tein Super Street Coilovers and I think it's a much better set up than before when I had Blitz springs and Koni shocks.

coilovers are the only way to go if you want to do it properly mate. you will also need adjustable camber arms.

Coilovers set at -50mm rear, -35 front, camber correction both ends and tie rods at the front,

thats a grand os so

Camber adjustment at the rear as well, thanks Allan.

Nearly got all the parts just waiting for the weather to get a bit warmer, and haven't decided on which shocks spring to go for.

Don't want anything to hard as I wish to keep my spine intact, anything to low and I will have to redo the driveway as the slope at the moment only just lets the car into the garage. Either that or move house, lol.

Just replacing springs to lower the car wont be enough it has to be coilovers, which are height adjustable, Changing the springs and shocks will only get you down about an inch or so. To get the wide arch to look right you need to go 40 to 50 mm lower on the rear. and 38 mm on the front to level the car. If you dont you will end up with a 3" gap between the tyre and the arch, trust me it dosent look good.
