i cannot believe my luck,,,,,, as most of you may be aware i was lucky enough to get a manual n/a for 2 quid from dave (daveclav) . He just needed it gone and wanted a club member to have her and look after her. Well i have taken her to D2 the ZED specialists in kent, we put her up on the ramps to see if all was not too bad underneath as she had been standing for a year or so and was without M O T, we could not believe our eyes,,,,,,,,,,, its like new under there, totally standard , not a spot of rust,DARREN said in his 20 years as a ZED specialist its one of the cleanest examples he has seen especially as it was used as a daily drive and has covered around 75k. oh lucky me, and thanks again dave.:clap:

do you want to sell and double your money:biggrin:

:nono::rofl:

Yassa, do D2 have a website by any chance? My dads Zed might need to go into the garage soon but ZedWorld is way to far unfortunately, as we are in Battersea, London.

Thanks André

Thanks Yassa, im guessing you would recommend this garage then. Iv herd lots of good things about Zedworld but thats to far away, so a garage closer would be ideal. Have you had any past experience with them? If so were you happy with the service and workmanship given? Also i know there are many garages that say they are Japanese car specialists but most of them end up not having a clue about the 300zx (past experience) are they any good with Zeds? Thanks André

Lol Well thats true sportsmanship! To be fair im f'in jealous! Looks a lovely car actually. If I didnt listen to 'er in doors as much i'd have a collection of 300zx's, one for every day of the week and one for each track! Pipe dreams!

hi mate i fully recommend them, darren has got to be the most experienced zed specialist possible, he has worked on them since they came into the country around 20 years ago, he has won many awards from nissan and i believe he was involved in the training of technitians who were to work on zeds,they have done absolutely everything on my car, i would not go anywhere else.andre. YOU WILL BE HAPPY. :clap:

typical lol, i pay for one and end up with a restoration project, and you get one mint for less than a jar of coffee, I'm not jealous though, honest guv' :), anyway come on then rub salt in the wound get some pictures up lol

Thanks Yassa, really appreciated :thumbup:

I (well ma dad knows exactly how you feel) he bought a zed last month, no tax or MOT but seller said it would pass with no problems, on sunday we noticed that the car is leaking oil from somewhere, also think it may have a leaking radiator and when we drove it around the car park we heard a weird noise from the front suspension, popped up the bonnet made the car bounce a bit on one side and saw that the suspension seems not to be on properl!y!!! :mad2:
