Hi There -

 

This may be a really silly question but I had my '92 TT LWB changed from auto to manual last week - but how do I get the spec of the car changed on my V5 (logbook)? Do I just contact the DVLA or are there reams of forms to fill out (if so which ones!)?

 

I have already let my insurance know but I want all the docs to tie up.

Isn't there an option on the V5 itself to notify the DVLA? Most other changes are done this way.

there should be a section next to each category where you can amend it. i cant remember whether transmission type is on the log book or not, but i certainly updated mine when i changed the paint colour.
