Had a little bit of free time yesterday at work so started doing some bits on the zed project!

Removed the rear spoiler - should knock about 0.5 sec of the 0-60 time with the weight saving!

Nice nice nice! You getting the rockgaurd taken off the rear bumper? Can't remember if I said that already?

You'll need the small little OEM Nissan mud spats as it'll cheap easily on that leading edge on the wings. When you refit that front bumper, do yourself a favour and don't refit the chicken wire. :D

LOL! Trouble is without the chicken wire you can see all the chicken guts behind the bumper!!

I did speak to my mate about the stonechip along the bottom edge - undecided ATM as he said it is there to serve a purpose. Would rather have it fully protected TBH. I know many cars dont have it now days but with galvanised panels & better sealing etc its not such an issue on a modern car. I do prefer the look without it but not sure if I want to sacrifice longevity!

Looking Good Paul.

As for people getting bored with your thread. not at all mate, it's one of the reasons I still log on here ocasionally :). Keep up the good work and keep the progress updates and pic coming.

I love these sort of threads. Start to finish with loads of pictures. (I've read every thread I can find on complete strip downs and rebuilds, including ever post of the RIPS Borg skyline thread).

Will do!

Just researching some AIV & PRVR system removal while the wings are off! :D

Then can start cutting the rot out!

Goodies are on the way now - 99 spec spoiler & windscreen/roof trims ordered. Also got some HID kits coming :thumbup1:

Hi Paul,

See in your pic you have the same wheels as mine. I had mine resprayed into what they called 'Black Chrome'

The wheels on the car at the moment are coming off - I have a set of 19" Jade R's going on which will be redone in sparkle silver :cool3:

Thanks Stu - all appears to be coming together nicely at the mo! Will keep posting pics as I go.

They have been busy prepping today again & will hopefully be finished in primer by the end of the week. Windscreen came out today.

you can sand stone chip by the way. spray it quite thin (more thinners) and just sand it down after. will not be as good as a fully preped panel but would be better than std

Just a quicky! My mates just sent me a text - car is now in first stage of primer :thumbup1:
