hi, looking at changing my standard wheels for a bigger set and came across some of a skyline just wondering if they will fit? pcd-5 x 114.3, 19x8j and et+39, couldnt work none of that stuff out but front tyres are 235 35 19 rears 275 35 19, thanks.

are you sure they are 8j wide front and rear?.. 40mm wider tyres on the back on the same width rim? the rolling radius will also be different front to back with them profiles.

the pcd is right so they will physically bolt onto the hub but you might need to play around with spacers to get the offset right...

thats what the description say 19x8j, does that not sound right? i havent a clue what it all means really, what do you mean by the rolling radius? so should it be just a case of getting some spacers? thanks for the info mate.

rolling radius- because of the different size of tyres, effectivly you have a different size wheels, (the wheels themselves arnt bigger just the height of the tyre) dont think it will make too much difference unless you have a 4x4,

and like you said yourself you will just have to put them on and see what sort of spacers you'll need/or not need, The 8j means the width of the wheel, i would imagine the rear is wider otherwise the tyre would look streched, like they do on them euro look golfs,

heres a little break down for ya...

19 is the radius of the rim in inches and 8 is the width of the rim in inches.

as for the tyre sizes, 235 (or 275) is the tyre width in mm. the next number, 35, is a percentage of the width of the tyre. so 35% of 235 would be the height of the tyre wall...

heres a pic to help..

if you take 35% of 235 and compare it to 35% of a 275, the 275 will have a larger sidewall so the rear wheels 'final size' or rolling radius will be larger than the fronts. also, as explained by mid wales zx, the tyres could look a bit odd, 1 would be stretched and the other bulging.

example of bulging:

my bet would be that the rear wheel width is larger.
