Alarm/ immobiliser issue, or maybe a flat battery?

Jeff

how am i ment to sort the alarm out / immobiliser

disarm it first :punk:

joking aside, what alarm does it have? and does it seem to be operating normally? if there is a fault and the immobiliser is not switching off then you wont be able to start your car.

it doesnt have a alrm that im aware of nor a immobiliser , never turned anything off

in that case as Jeff says could be a flat battery. Probably got enough power for dash lights etc but not for starting. Have you used the car recently?

I have had the same thing for the past 2 days, flat battery.

I have mine on charge at the minute, but when i turned the key, i got a click and a beep beep from my alarm

mine went flat after 3 days of sitting in the cold, battery is not that old, but it does say on the side, first charge required jan 09, so i guess its not as new as i thought lol

If you're getting a click it's probably a flat battery. They do seem to go flat quicker in the cold (as Groover has said)
